This year's Hardlines Technology Forum brought together supply chain professionals in the hardlines industry to collaborate with leading retailers - Lowe's, Home Depot, Do-It-Best and AAFES. Highlights of the forum included Lowe's announcing that they have 96% of their item volume synchronized.

Data Sync was a big part of the conference with a lot of discussion on data quality and how the efficient flow of merchandise is interrupted when retailers are working with inaccurate or incomplete data.

While attendance at the conference was down, it was a great opportunity to connect with our customers, retailers and partners.

The conference also had several presentations on how companies were improving internal and inter-organizational collaboration through the use of wiki's, and document sharing technologies.
