Lowe's Raises the Bar Again
On a division-by-division basis, Lowe's is rolling out a change in their new item setup process where it will be mandatory for items to be published to Lowe's prior to the vendor submitting the New Item Setup Sheet. In addition, the vendor will be required to have publication information in a new "tab" in the Setup Sheet so that the Lowe's Merchandise Assistants can verify that the items have be published to Lowe's via GDSN and if not reject the Setup Sheet.
To help Lowe's vendors with this new process Sync/PDI has been enhanced to generate the Lowe's New Item Setup Sheet complete with the new publication tab required by Lowe's. The Lowe's Setup Sheets are available from the Extract option after performing a search.
