Sears Joins AAFES and Wal-Mart
Sears recently announced their roll-out plans for GDSN beginning in Q2 of 2009.
As 2009 began, many vendors found renewed calls from Wal-Mart and AAFES to implement Data Synchronization. Both retailers continue to move through their vendor lists and issue increasingly firm instructions on the implications of not moving ahead.
In their most recent presentation, Sears indicated that their GDSN roll-out will cover both the Sears and Kmart stores and include all categories other than softlines.
