The Aligntrac management team directed the development of vendor and retailer data synchronization tools for GS1 Canada. These easy-to-use tools greatly contributed to the success of the ECCnet Data Pool. The team has long experience in creating successful trading partner communities both at established solution providers Sterling Commerce and Harbinger and three successful e-commerce start-ups.

Our software products are based on technology proven by 1,000's of users. Aligntrac continues to enhance the Aligntrac software.

Management Team

Ed Howe

Ed has been a leader in solutions for trading partner electronic integration for the past 20 years. Ed co-founded Metro-Mark Canada which developed the market leading Translator*MVS product which was used by Fortune 5000 companies. Ed went on to co-found Don Valley Technology which created vendor mass-engagement solutions for large retailers. Ed founded EDITEK Consultants which as a strategic technology partner of the Electronic Commerce Council of Canada (GS1 Canada) was responsible for the development of much of ECCnet. Ed has also held executive positions with Sterling Software and Harbinger.

Dan Edwards

Over the past five years Dan has had extensive experience consulting with Canada's leading retailers and vendors - from their initial implementations through leading edge application integration. Dan has over 15 years experience in Electronic Commerce, holding management positions in product management, development and support with Sterling Commerce and Metro-Mark Canada.

John Palazzolo

John has over ten years development and management experience. John was the principal architect of GS1 Canada's data synchronization solution known as ECCnet and has extensive experience assisting retailers integrate data synchronization with their internal applications. John has also developed numerous customized trading community solutions for retailers and other "hub-type" organizations.
